The Founder of Zhineng Qigong
Dr. Pang HeMing is the founder of Zhineng Qigong. He was born in 1940 in a remote village in northern China. He graduated as a medical doctor at the age of 18, and went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). While pursuing his study, he sought wisdoms and enlightenments from Confusianism (Ru Jia Gong), Daoism (Dao Jio Gong), Buddhism (Fo Jia Gong). In 1978, he participated in the 1st Session of TCM Conference organized by the Ministry of Health, and spoke of the significance of Zhineng Qigong. In 1980, he invented and taught He Xiang Zhuang (Flying Crane Form) as the basic level of Zhineng Qigong, and later replaced it by Peng Qi Guan Ding Fa. A year later, he created Xing Shen Zhuang (Body Mind Form) as a complimentary practice of Peng Qi Guan Ding Fa. In his life-long involvement in Zhineng Qigong, Dr. Pang HeMing has published several books notably: The Secrets of Healing Ourselves with Intelligent Life- Energy (1980), Developing human potential through qigong (2007), The methods of Qigong (2013), Wu Yuan Zhuang: the 3rd Level (2015), The Theory of Hunyuan Whole, Paranormal Abilities, and The Techniques of Zhineng Qigong Science (2017).
